About AI Visibility Lab
AI Visibility Lab checks how ready Swiss SME websites are for AI search and reports practical improvements. Based in Switzerland.
What we do
We provide website readiness checks for AI search, and related services, for Swiss SMEs. The work has three parts: a free instant check that returns a Website Readiness Score (0–100) and up to three highlighted issues; a written report, also free and delivered by email, with per-page results, suggested improvements and a small sample of AI answers; and a paid engagement in which we help apply the changes and then measure and report changes, including unchanged or mixed results.
The free check is an automated website check. It does not measure how often AI assistants recommend your business or guarantee future mentions. A tailored diagnostic tests documented buyer questions for your market and languages.
Who we work with
Our clients are small and medium-sized businesses in Switzerland, with a particular focus on professional-services firms and health and nutrition practitioners. These are businesses with a real local reputation whose prospective clients may use AI assistants alongside Google.
Why this is not SEO
Traditional SEO targets ranking signals such as links, keywords and page authority. Our check looks at different website features: entity clarity in your structured data, an answer-first content structure, and whether robots.txt blocks AI crawlers. Ranking well on Google does not tell you how AI assistants answer questions about your business. The two questions are related but not the same.
We ran the engine on our own site
Before offering the check to anyone else, we ran our own scoring engine against this website. We think a service that checks entity clarity should apply the same check to its own site. The way the score is calculated is described on our methodology section.
Where we are
AI Visibility Lab is operated by David O'Donnell from Lugano, in the canton of Ticino, Switzerland. It was founded in 2026. The public website is hosted in Switzerland; the scoring engine runs on a server in Frankfurt. You can reach us at [email protected].
